Person flees after crashing SUV into Wayne Avenue business

Police are looking for a suspect who crashed a SUV early Saturday morning into a business in the 500 block of Wayne Avenue and then fled.

A maroon Chevrolet Traverse drove into a building around 1:35 a.m. just down the street from the Dublin Pub where St. Patrick’s Day activities were held all day Friday, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

“It appears a driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a building,” the Dayton Police Department said. “There is no structure damage to the building and the driver ran away.”

No one was injured.

Traffic Services Unit is investigating.
